James Freedman is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and a student at Stanford Law School, where he has served as an editor on the boards of the Stanford Law Review and the Stanford Technology Law Review, and as Co-President of the Stanford Law and Technology Association. While in law school, James was a judicial extern for Justice Joyce Kennard at the California Supreme Court, a summer associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and a teaching assistant in the Stanford University Department of Economics.
During the 2008 election, James was an Op-Ed Editor for The Huffington Post's OffTheBus. His freelance work includes a column on the college application process for Los Angeles Family Magazine, national syndication by Featurewell.com, and interviews of a Nobel Prize winner, CNN's Wolf Blitzer and Jeffrey Toobin, film director Wes Craven, the Director of the NIH, Maryland's Governor, Congressman Ron Paul, and a number of other interesting individuals.
