James Robison

Founder and President, LIFE Outreach International

At the age of 18, James Robison began working in ministry, speaking at churches and conducting hundreds of citywide crusades in stadiums and indoor arenas nationwide, which were attended by more than 20 million people. After more than 20 years proclaiming the gospel through crusade evangelism and Bible conferences, Robison founded LIFE Outreach International to focus on television, overseas missions and humanitarian outreaches.

In the new book, "Indivisible: Restoring Faith, Family, and Freedom Before It’s Too Late" (FaithWords/Hachette Book Group, February 2012), co-authored by Jay W. Richards, Robison urges people of faith to learn, understand and help apply the principles necessary for healthy, effective government. Through a thorough explanation of these timeless and universal principles, Indivisible points readers in the right direction to begin the restoration of faith, family and freedom—including a healthy free market to benefit both the culture and government of the United States.

Robison is co-host of LIFE Today, a daily syndicated television program that reaches virtually every household in America on satellite and national networks, such as Discovery, ABC Family, and inspirational networks including TBN, Daystar and INSP. He has written more than a dozen books including Living in Love, True Prosperity, Thank God I’m Free, My Father’s Face and The Absolutes: Freedom’s Only Hope and has personally influenced religious, political and social leaders for the last four decades.

Robison resides in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife, Betty. He has three children and 11 grandchildren.
