Jason Sherwin

Jason Sherwin, Ph.D. is the Rita Allen Foundation and Harmony Institute Media Impact Fellow. He is also Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of deCervo, a neurotech company specializing in decision-making. Previously, he was Research Professor of Visual Neuroscience at the State University of New York. Before that, he held dual appointments as a post-doctoral research scientist at the Columbia University in the City of New York and as an Oak Ridge Associated Universities post-doctoral fellow at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. His research during this time covered perceptual decision-making in real-world environments. He is also a pianist and composer in his non-scientific life.
