I am a 2009 Political Science/ History graduate from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. I was raised in Piedmont, Alabama where my mother is a hard-working factory worker who taught me sound morals such as the difference between right and wrong, setting goals, integrity, and the appreciation of hard work. She educated me on this bedrock foundation in hopes of placing in me a yearning desire to achieve great deeds. I understand that my strengths lie not just in my upbringing but also in the knowledge that I am an advocate of truth and honesty. These strengths are what have sparked my desire to accomplish greatness. As of recently I have completed the White House Internship Program as well as the Congressional Black Caucus’s Political Boot Camp. Now I am focusing on pursuing a master’s degree in public administration and look to start in the spring of 2012.
