Jayson Boyers

President & CEO, Cleary University

Jayson M. Boyers is the President and CEO of Cleary University, an independent, not-for-profit, multi-campus, specialized business university, committed to the betterment of society through the success of its alumni and their employers. Our mission is to provide a practical, application-based education, which equips students to advance their careers.

Previously, he served as vice president, Continuing Professional Studies, at Vermont’s Champlain College in Burlington, a private institution that offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in professionally-focused programs balanced by an interdisciplinary core curriculum. As lead executive of the Division of Continuing Professional Studies, Jayson was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the adult education division, including the expansion of the national online education programs through the creation of his nationally recognized TrueED model of business partnerships.

He also previously served as the national division president of The Chef's Academy, the Culinary Division of Harrison College. He oversaw the preparation of students for marketable careers in culinary arts, pastry arts, and hospitality and restaurant management.

An award-winning educator and community leader, Jayson received the 40 Under 40 Leadership Award from the Triangle Business Journal in 2011. He has appeared in the WSJ MarketWatch, Forbes, and national industry publications. He has served on multiple boards of directors for nonprofit organizations throughout his career. Jayson earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Indianapolis. He also has a master’s degree in leadership development from Saint Mary of the Woods College and his Doctorate from Creighton University. He resides in Brighton, Michigan with his wife, Mandy.
