Jan Birchfield, Ph.D. explores the relationship between leadership, psychology, contemplative practice, and innovation. She works with leaders both individually and in groups, as well as in retreat at her center in Taos, New Mexico. She has a passion for working with those who wish to revitalize or who have an interest in increasing emotional or intuitive intelligence. She is a long-time practitioner of meditation and enjoys incorporating practices that explore the nature of consciousness into her work. Jan has lectured for audiences in corporate and academic settings including Deloitte Consulting, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Novo Nordisk, Time Warner Cable, the Fashion Institute of Technology, MJM Creative, the New York City Charter School System, and Olin Business School at Washington University. She recently published a book titled Silent Leaders and has written articles for Forbes Magazine. She has an undergraduate degree in philosophy and a Ph.D. in psychology. Jan presently resides in Taos, New Mexico with her family.
