Jean Brownhill Lauer

Co-Founder & CEO of Sweeten

Jean is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sweeten - the renovation matchmaker connecting homeowners with major renovation projects to a curated network of screened design and construction experts. She has over ten years of experience in residential and commercial architecture planning, design, project management and systems. Jean was previously the Senior Manager of Global Architecture at Coach where she won the company's Chairman's Award for designing and managing web platforms for construction and design groups. Jean was one of nine recipients of the prestigious Loeb Fellowship in 2011 from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and received a Bachelor of Architecture from Cooper Union.

Outside of Sweeten, Jean is the Co-founder and Chairwoman of the African American Student Union (AASU) at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, an organization dedicated to supporting African Americans in architecture, real estate, urban planning, and landscape architecture.
