Jeff Steele is a noted film finance expert and former CFO of Magnet Media Group (MMG), an equity finance, production, and distribution company. Jeff also manages his own consulting firm, Film Closings, Inc. Previously, Jeff was the director of film finance for Screen Capital International and a producer of Sony Classics' "Who Killed the Electric Car?"
Jeff got his start in Los Angeles, working for the likes of Tom Freston, Mike Medavoy, Arnold Messer, and Linda Obst to name a few. He's a frequent panelist for film financing and producing forums where he’s known for telling audiences what they need to know, but don’t always want to hear.
