Currently an MD-PhD student at the University of Miami, earning a PhD in biomedical engineering. He is originally from California where he went to UC Berkeley for bioengineering. He has worked as a researcher and medical volunteer in Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, and Denmark and has working proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese. In his spare time he enjoys photography, improv comedy, singing, and salsa dancing. He also finds it strange to brag about himself in the 3rd person.
