Jeffrey Blount is an Emmy Award-winning television director with 34 years of network television experience. He is an accomplished public speaker, award-winning author of two novels and an award-winning scriptwriter for documentary projects. Blount, now retired from NBC, directed a decade of Meet the Press along with Nightly News, Today and The Chris Matthews Show. He is also a 2016 inductee of the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame and the 2017 Shapiro Fellow at George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs.
