Jennifer Gardella, Ph.D. is a mom, wife, step-mom and entrepreneur raising 5 amazing teenagers with her husband in Bucks County, PA. She is honored to have a place here on the Huff Po to share her thoughts and stories of her amazingly crazy life. Jennifer is a social media consultant providing monthly support to a select group of clients and speaks often to groups on the power of social media, blogging and branding yourself as an expert. Jennifer is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University teaching statistics and education classes. Jennifer completed her undergraduate work at Fordham University and holds both Masters and Doctoral degrees in Educational Psychology from Rutgers University where she was employed as a fundraising professional. Once her first daughter was born she spent 8 years as a stay-at-home mom, where she took on the role of professional volunteer. In addition to her visits to playgroups and playgrounds, she started three scout troops, ran PTO fundraisers and events, and spent 6 years on the Board of the Lawrence Township Education Foundation (ltefnj.org) including a term as President. In her spare time you can find Jen enjoying every ounce of being a mom, building her new big blended family, hanging out with close friends, connecting on social media, reading, meditating, golfing, learning to play tennis and staying sane by visiting the gym. Using her blog, NJ Divorce Mom and now My Steps in Time, Jennifer finds her voice sharing her experiences as single mom, blending families, wife, step-mom, and entrepreneur communicating with her ex-husband/co-parent, her experiences in the dating world being 40+, blending families,remarriage, raising 5 teenagers, and growing her business.
