Jeremy Newman took up the role as CEO of global accountancy firm BDO International (http://bdointernational.com/) on 1 October 2008, succeeding Frans Samyn.
Formerly Managing Partner of the network’s UK Member Firm, he led BDO Stoy Hayward through a restructuring process which ultimately resulted in unprecedented levels of both fee income and staff numbers. He was known nationally for giving the firm a market presence as ‘employer of choice’ and for his strong stance on the issue of competition and choice in the UK audit market.
Jeremy is also known for his CEO Insights blog (blog.e-bdo.com), the only one by written a senior individual within the financial services market in the UK.
