Jesica L. Santos is currently an International Independent Consultant with over 10 years of international experience of working in the field of human rights and transitional justice, mainly with a focus on African countries and expertise related to the International Criminal Court (ICC). She has vast experience in project implementation in conflict and/or post-conflict settings, including in providing capacity building and training of national counterparts on the ICC, justice and rule of law. Previously, she was a Criminal Justice Associate at the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) based in New York from 2008-2016, where she started as an expert consultant in 2007. A native of Argentina, she studied and received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law, Political Science and International Affairs in Buenos Aires, the United States and Europe.
