Jessica Borelli, Ph.D., is an associate professor of psychology and social behavior at University of California, Irvine, where she runs the THRIVE Research Laboratory (http://faculty.sites.uci.edu/thrivelab/). Dr. Borelli is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in child and adolescent mental health and parent-child relationships; in this capacity, she is the Clinical Director of emPATH Clinical Services (http://www.empathclinical.com). After earning her bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley, she completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Yale University and her pre-doctoral clinical internship at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
