'Sodium Girl'

After Lupus caused her kidneys to fail, Jessica Goldman Foung refocused her life and work to study food, health, and the many ways they interact. She regularly writes for Edible San Francisco, Stanford Hospital, and, and hosts the blog on keeping a limitless low-sodium life. She released the Sodium Girl's Limitless Low-Sodium Cookbook (Bloody Marys and all) with Houghton in early 2013, available everywhere books are sold. And will continue to work with health organizations around the country to raise awareness and help people take an active role in their health care, with their own two hands.
