Jessica Rauch

President and Executive Director, DC Public Education Fund

As the President and Executive Director of the DC Public Education Fund, Jessica Rauch leads the organization’s strategic growth and operations, including fundraising, communications, and program management. She works directly with Chancellor Kaya Henderson and the management team to set the vision for strategic fundraising priorities. In partnership with the DC Ed Fund Board of Directors, philanthropic partners, and community stakeholders, she brings critical resources to priority initiatives that accelerate innovation and academic achievement in DCPS.

Prior to joining DC Ed Fund, Jessica lead DCPS’ strategic planning efforts and the development of the five-year strategic plan, A Capital Commitment and served as Chief of Staff in the Office of Data and Strategy. Prior to joining DCPS, Jessica co-founded and led an education nonprofit that expanding opportunities for low-income students in six American cities, impacting over 7,000 students. Previously, Rauch served as a recruitment director for Teach For America where she pioneered the graduate student recruitment initiative for the organization. She started her career in education through Teach For America as a fourth-grade ELL teacher in the Bronx, NY. Rauch graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley and holds a M.S. in General Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education in New York City.
