Kathleen Kaufman is a native Coloradan who has spent the last eleven years in Los Angeles, California. She is a University of Southern California alum and teaches high school English in addition to being an adjunct professor at Santa Monica College, teaching creative writing and composition. Kaufman's first novel: The Tree Museum was published in 2009 by The Way Things Are Publications. Her sophomore novel, The Lairdbalor, is due out in October of 2017 with Turner Publishing Group.
