Julie Wosk is a professor of art history, English, and studio painting at the State University of New York, Maritime College in New York City. Her exhibit "Picturing Female Robots and Androids" is on view at the New York Hall of Science in New York City through October 22, 2017. She has lectured widely throughout the United States and Europe, and her lecture "Alluring Androids and Robots" was taped by PBS Television Channel Thirteen in New York as part of their "Best Lectures in New York" series.
