Jill Goldberg is a retail entrepreneur and interior designer. She is the Founder of HUDSONhttp://www.hudsonboston.com and Hudson Interior Designshttp://www.hudsoninteriordesigns.com.

In September 2006 Jill opened HUDSON which quickly became, and still is, Boston’s premiere home boutique. Winning accolades and "Best of" awards from the local media, HUDSON claims the "Traditional, Country and Vintage meets Modern" approach to home design. Traditional Home deemed Jill a "Young Traditional" in May 2007 launching her on the national stage. In 2009, Wallpaper deemed HUDSON one of Boston's must-see shops as did Elle Décor and countless others. In September 2011, to celebrate her fifth successful year in business, Jill moved to a new, larger location around the corner from the first shop, and launched a successful e-commerce destination.

Hudson Interior Designs was founded in 2010, following the successful launch in 2006 of HUDSON, the home furnishings boutique. Hudson Interior Designs is a full-service, residential design firm. Classic design foundations, with a mix of traditional, modern and vintage, define the Hudson Interior Designs style.

National recognition for Jill’s style and interior design projects includes numerous accolades and several awards:

In September 2014, Jill was recognized as one of the “5 Under 40” Next Generation of Design Leaders by New England Home magazine.

In May 2014, Jill Goldberg was named one of the national “10 New Traditionals” by Traditional Home in recognition of how she “…weaves together beguiling interiors in a mix of traditional, country, modern and vintage styles.”

In January 2013, Jill Goldberg was invited to join the Interior Design Committee for the Young Collectors Night of the Winter Antiques Show at the Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan. She was invited to join the Design Committee again in 2014 and 2015.

In April 2012, Jill Goldberg was recognized with the inaugural Benjamin Moore "Emerging Designer" award during the HUE Awards in New York City.

In February 2012, Jill Goldberg was named part of "The Next Wave" of Interior Designers by House Beautiful in recognition for being "equally at home with big, bold gestures and understated elegance, with Hollywood glam and country chic." Jill was the first designer from Boston to be recognized with this distinction from House Beautiful.

Jill Goldberg started her design career in her mother’s living room rearranging the furniture. She was always a fan of home design but another interest took hold initially. She moved to Los Angeles after high school to become an actress. For the following eight years Jill worked on her acting career all the while soaking up the relaxed and comfortable California style that is now present in her design work.

One day, she realized it was time to return to school and study a subject she had loved for so long, interior design. Jill attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Upon graduating, she left Los Angeles for Boston and in 2001 Jill started her own company, Picket Fence Interior Design, and began to work with homeowners helping them to realize their personal taste through the selections of fabrics, furniture, accent pieces and wall colors. This experience helped her realize that she wanted to work with textiles, furniture and decor.

Jill and her interior designs have been featured in several media outlets including House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home, Boston Magazine, Coastal Living, 1stdibs, Interior Design, New England Home, The Boston Globe and New England Cable News. Jill is currently a guest blogger for The Huffington Post Home.

Jill resides in Boston with her husband Damien Hoar de Galvan, an established artist, and their daughter Dylan.
