WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp Hosts

Marriage counselors, Jim and Elizabeth Carroll, host the series “Marriage Boot Camp,” airing Friday’s at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv. “Marriage Boot Camp” centers around five couples who have to live together in the same house for an extreme marriage boot camp in an effort to work out their marriage demons. Couples whose marriages are on a path to destruction undergo a two-week boot where they are faced with the ultimate question: is their marriage worth saving?

As the founder and creator of Marriage Boot Camp Jim has been saving marriages across the USA since 1994. His secret to boot camp is combining the best of the best in games, drills and exercises along with a heavy boot-camp style dose of tough love to facilitate healing in every participant.

Jim got his start with trainer Dr. Phil McGraw and has been thriving for nearly 20 years. In addition to being married to director Elizabeth Carroll, Jim is a champion poker player with several national titles to his name.

As co-director of Marriage Boot Camp, Elizabeth brings a unique combination of experience in contemporary culture and insight to the psychology of the human mind and relationships. With her practical experience in teaching, public speaking, corporate training and counseling, Elizabeth has a vast knowledge with each and every case she’s a part of. Her counseling experience includes individuals, couples and adolescents. She is proficient in art therapy, object relations therapy and gestalt.

Elizabeth has over 30 years in the corporate world with Levi Strauss & Co. along with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University in San Francisco.
