Jim Kirsch

Jim Kirsch has served as CEO of Professional Diversity Network, the largest professional online resource and job board for diverse Americans, since June 2008. With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Mr. Kirsch is driven by a passion to create equal access and opportunity through education, in order to secure a better future for all Americans.

Prior to his current position, he served as Chief Strategic Officer at AMightyRiver.com, a division of PDN and the premier online career resource for Black professionals. Previously, he served as CEO at eSpecialty Brands, where he operated 200 retail stores, and two of the nation’s leading e-commerce web businesses and global manufacturing facilities in Central America, the Near Middle east and the Far East. Mr. Kirsch also served as CEO at iMaternity.com, the ecommerce partner of iVillage.com and the spinoff of the business unit from iVillage.com, and Manager/VP/COO at Dan Howard Industries, a vertically integrated bricks to clicks retailer of apparel.

Mr. Kirsch has served as City Councilman and Chairman of the Finance Committee at City of Highland Park since 2001. Additionally, he has served as Member of the Board at Portfolio Solution, a private equity fund investing in socially responsible companies with strong national brand equity. He holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from University of Arizona.
