Jim Noles

Environmental Attorney and Author

A self-described "Army brat," Jim Noles followed his father's footsteps into the U.S. Army before attending law school. He now practices environmental law with Balch & Bingham LLP in Birmingham, Alabama, where he resides with his wife and two sons. Outside of his law practice, he writes as a freelance for a number of magazines, newspapers, and journals, has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and at the University of Alabama School of Law, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Alabama School of Fine Arts. His most recent book is Dog Days: A Life in the Day of a Dog Named Pinot, available as an e-Book on Amazon. Visit his (Jim's, not the dog's) website at www.jimnoles.com.
