Jocelyn Jeffery is a writer and yoga teacher certified at the RYT 500-Hour Level. She is the Founder/Editor of Materialess, an online guide for yoga, wellness and healthy living and formerly founded Materialist magazine, an internationally distributed print publication on art, fashion and design. She began her career LVMH Inc., and subsequently managed production of collection accessories at Marc Jacobs International. She received her Bachelors in journalism at New York University and has contributed to publications including The Huffington Post, People and Vice. She grew up in London and Paris where she developed her aesthetic inclinations and received her Masters in Design Writing Criticism at The London College of Communication. She launched Materialist while writing her Masters thesis and later, Materialess while studying yoga with her mentor Jodie Rufty at YogaWorks in New York City. She is currently writing and teaching yoga in Venice, California.
