Jodi Eichler-Levine is the Berman Professor of Jewish Civilization and Associate Professor of Religion Studies at Lehigh University. She is the author of _Suffer the Little Children: Uses of the Past in Jewish and African American Children's Literature_ (NYU Press, 2013). Professor Eichler-Levine specializes in the study of contemporary American Jewish culture, religion and children's literature, popular and material culture, and gender.
