Joe Amon is the director of the health and human rights division at Human Rights Watch based in New York. Before joining Human Rights Watch in 2005, Joe worked for more than 15 years conducting research, designing programs, and evaluating interventions related to AIDS, malaria, hepatitis and Guinea Worm disease. Joe has a PhD in epidemiology and a Masters degree in tropical medicine.
