Joe Duran

National Program Director, Moneythink

Joe Duran is the National Program Director at Moneythink, a Chicago-based nonprofit focused on teaching urban teenagers how to make and manage money. Joe leads Moneythink’s operational strategy, educational design, and financial reporting efforts. Prior to his work with Moneythink, Joe was a 2009 Teach for America Corps Member in the South Bronx, where he taught middle school special education at Jonas Bronck Academy. Joe also has experience in the private sector, working as a Business Analyst for Target Corporation in Minneapolis. Joe has previously been featured on Teach for America’s Pass the Chalk Blog as the author of “The Pathway to an Attainable American Dream.”
