Joe Favorito is a Brooklyn, New York native who has over 23 years of strategic communications/marketing, business development and public relations expertise in sports, entertainment, brand building, media training, television, athletic administration and business.

He has managed the day-to-day and long term strategic planning for some of the largest brands in sports and entertainment, including two of the world’s hallmark sports brands (the New York Knickerbockers and Philadelphia 76ers), the world’s largest professional sport for women (the WTA Tour), the world’s largest sports National Governing Body (the United States Tennis Association) and the world’s largest annual sporting event (the US Open). Joe also oversaw the strategic planning, investor relations, communications and digital business development of the International Fight League during its two year run as a Mixed Martial Arts venture and a publicly traded company.

He now runs an independent consulting business with clients that include: TikiVentures, Bloomberg LLC, the International Baseball Federation, Global Options Group, Comic-con, Wizard Entertainment, Fantasy Sports Ventures, Ponturo Management Group, Carnegie Sports Group, Ketchum Sports, the New Meadowlands Stadium Corporation, RotoHog and others.

Additionally, Joe has spoken on the topics of social media, sports communications and marketing at colleges and universities ranging from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the University of Florida Law School, Princeton University and many others.
