Rebecca Alexander is an author, psychotherapist, spin instructor, volunteer, and an extreme athlete who is almost completely blind and deaf due to Usher Syndrome Type III. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she currently lives in New York City with her goldendoodle Olive. Not Fade Away, Rebecca's first book, is both a memoir of the senses and a unique look at the obstacles we all face—physical, psychological, and philosophical—exploring the extraordinary powers of memory, love, and perseverance.
