John Bandler

Lawyer and author of Cybersecurity for the Home and Office

John Bandler protects companies and individuals from today's risks, and is the author of "Cybersecurity for the Home and Office, the Lawyer's Guide to Taking Charge of Your Own Information Security," published by the American Bar Association. John is the founder of Bandler Law Firm PLLC and Bandler Group LLC, a law firm and a consulting practice that help businesses and individuals with cybersecurity, cybercrime investigations, traditional investigations, and other areas. John started in government as a State Trooper in the New York State Police, then after law school he was hired at the New York County District Attorney's office by the legendary Robert Morgenthau. While an Assistant District Attorney, he investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of criminal offenses from street crime to global cybercrime, data trafficking, and virtual currency money laundering. John holds a number of information security and information technology certifications, and writes, lectures, and teaches on cybersecurity, cybercrime, investigations, and the law.
