John Clark, Pfizer’s Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Global
Security, leads a global team of security professionals whose mission is to protect Pfizer’s personnel, real and intellectual property, reputation, and the integrity of its medicines. He has led Pfizer’s anti-counterfeiting effort since joining the company in 2008.

Mr. Clark is recognized as a leading spokesperson for the pharmaceutical industry on the threat that counterfeit medicines pose to patient health and safety. He has appeared on national television, most recently on 60 Minutes, and as a panelist at the White House Intellectual Property Health and Safety Forum organized in December 2010 by the U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC).

Prior to joining Pfizer, Mr. Clark spent 28 years in federal law enforcement, most recently serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the second largest investigative agency in the federal government. While with ICE, he was responsible for the overall management and coordination of the agency's operation and served as the Assistant Secretary's principal representative to the Department of Homeland Security and to the law enforcement and intelligence communities.

In 2008, in recognition of his exemplary career in the public sector, he was awarded the rank of Meritorious Executive in the Senior Executive Service by the President of the United States.
