JOHN ROMANO is a screenwriter (The Lincoln Lawyer, American Pastoral) who as been writer-producer for more than 20 television shows (from Hill Street Blues to Monk and Hell on Wheels.) He is the author of a book on Dickens (Dickens and Reality) and is a contributor to the Los Angeles Review of Books. His fiction has appeared in The Yale Review and in Vice. He lives in Santa Monica and in New York.
