John Wareham

Author, 'How to Survive a Bullet to the Heart'

John Wareham created the Eagles Foundation in 1996. An unpaid volunteer, he regularly presents the Taking Wings program in New York correctional facilities. Participants have consistently rate the program “best presented and most helpful.” The low recidivism rate is unrivaled. John’s pro bono work is funded by his human resource practice, selecting and developing corporate leaders. A frequent keynote speaker, he was ranked by the Financial Times as “the hands down winner” among business communicators. He has published several business best sellers in a dozen languages, and the crossover life-changer, How to Break Out of Prison. A member of writers group PEN, his fiction includes the national best seller, The President’s Therapist (and the secret intervention to treat the alcoholism of George W. Bush). His Sonnets for Sinners was America’s bestselling anthology of sonnets upon release on Valentine’s Day 2010.
