Jonathan Sokolow is an attorney, activist and small business owner living in Reston, Virginia. He graduated from the University of Michigan and Brooklyn Law School and has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years. Among other positions, he has been employed as a Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of the City of New York, General Counsel to the Vermont State Employees Union and, most recently, Senior Assistant General Counsel to the United Mine Workers of America Health and Retirement Funds, a position from which he retired in 2015 after 21 years of service.
