Jonathan Jeffrey is a senior and student body vice president at Windsor High School in Sonoma County, California. Jeffrey sits on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Student Councils (www.casc.net), a non-profit organization that advocates for youth and promotes youth engagement in education policy decision-making processes. In June, he was one of three students considered by Governor Jerry Brown’s office for appointment to the California State Board of Education. This past summer, Jeffrey served as a U.S. Senate page, sponsored by Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), and in 2010 he received a fully funded scholarship from the U.S. Department of State, to study Arabic in Morocco for six weeks. An avid debater, Jeffrey is a member of the National Forensics League.
