Dr. Josef Reum

For 30 years, Dr. Josef Reum has been helping others create and lead change by building “learning” organizations that reflect the way individuals prefer to give and receive information to enhance teamwork, innovation and trust. In just one presentation, he can transform the way individuals talk and interact with each other so they can successfully work to attain the organization’s vision. Dr. Reum leads a consulting firm that provides clients strategy, consultation, and executive coaching focused on individual capacity building and strategic leadership, or as he describes it, facilitating sustainable change one conversation at a time. Previously, he served in multiple decanal roles at George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health for 14 years and was a faculty member at the University for 22 years. Prior to joining George Washington University, he served as Executive Vice President at the American Health Quality Association, was the Founding Deputy Director of the Local Funding Partners Program for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and served nine governors in six states. Dr. Reum earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology from The Catholic University of America, a Masters of Public Administration from the John F. Kenney School of Government at Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Feminist Theory and Change Management from the School of Business and Public Management at George Washington University. He received a Fulbright Fellowship in 2014. He lives in Washington, DC and Sanibel, Florida.
