Joseph Stashko is a journalist whose main focus is community and hyperlocal media. In early 2011 he was successful in winning significant funding from NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and Arts) in order to implement a city-wide community journalism project. The initiative comprises of training volunteers in storytelling in order to produce a wider level of campaigning journalism and public accountability for local authorities.
