Author, US Counter-Terrorism Strategy and al-Qaeda: Signaling and the Terrorist World-View
Joshua Alexander Geltzer received his PhD in War Studies from King’s College London, where he studied on a Marshall Scholarship and where his research focused on American counter-terrorist strategy toward al-Qaeda. His dissertation was published by Routledge as US Counter-Terrorism Strategy and al-Qaeda: Signalling and the Terrorist World-View. Before attending King’s, he graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, where his senior thesis, “Communication Breakdown: Transatlantic Miscommunication and the Misperception of Perception,” received the Myron Herrick Prize for the Most Outstanding Senior Thesis. He is a second-year student at Yale Law School and the editor-in-chief of the Yale Law Journal.
