Multi-platinum soul singer Joss Stone, born and raised in England, emerged on the Devon music scene at age 16, where she was immediately recognized for her vocal talent. Since then, the 21-year-old Stone has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and won the 2007 Grammy Award for best R&B performance by a Duo or Group and been nominated for four other Grammy Awards. She has appeared onstage with James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Patti Labelle, Mavis Staples, Donna Summer, and Smokey Robinson; sat for an interview with Oprah Winfrey; starred in two major ad campaigns for the Gap; and performed for more than 200,000 people at the Live 8 Concert in London and in front of millions of television viewers during the Super Bowl XL pre-game show. She has released three critically acclaimed studio albums, including Introducing Joss Stone (2007), with plans to release a fourth in 2009.
