Jonathan Funke

Republican-centrist-in-residence. Last one standing.

Jonathan Funke is a centrist Republican who came of age politically in Bill Weld’s Massachusetts and Ronald Reagan’s America. He lives in New York City, where he wonders why Mayor Bloomberg is taking so long to return from vacation. He has written for Fortune Magazine, CityArts and the New York Press; volunteered for John Kasich in ten states; and hosted The Run, the Business & Employment News Network's series on the 2016 presidential contest and associated madness. He has published TheCenterline.org since 2005. Follow his centrist political rants @jrfunke, and his other ones @funkejonathan.
