Judy Sennesh

Proud mom, mother-in-law and grandmother, and fierce advocate for the LGBTQ community. Judy is the Board Chair of PFLAG NYC.

After a lifetime in the business world, Judy Sennesh found her "raison d'etre" after her youngest child, assigned female at birth, came out as transgender in 2004. She has been a member of the Leadership Team of Gender Conference East since its inception in 2014, founded and facilitates PFLAG NYC's TransFamilies Project, and in July 2016 became Chair of PFLAG NYC's Board of Directors. Judy is also laser-focused on the role of faith and religion in family acceptance and rejection of LGBTQ people and is proud to be a member of the Reform movement of Judaism where all are welcomed regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
