Julia is excited about innovation — primarily in technology, the arts, education, and the media. She is the co-founder of Culture Craver, a NYC-based company that helps people find and experience more culture they'll love. She served as Director of Communications for the New York City Department of Education and she’s managed a range of projects in communications and public policy — such as serving as project director of the Council on Foreign Relations Task Force on U.S. Education Reform and National Security and helping to create Education Nation for NBC. Julia began her career as a reporter, covering education, policy, and economic development for The New York Sun, the Financial Times, and Hearst Newspapers. Julia graduated with an MBA from Columbia Business School and an AB in government from Dartmouth College.
