Julia Fierro's novel, <em><a href="" rel="nofollow">Cutting Teeth</a></em>, is about the complicated (and often comical) contemporary parenting experience, and was one of the most anticipated debuts of Spring 2014. <em>The Boston Globe</em> calls <em>Cutting Teeth</em> "a fresh perspective on the journey of parenting that is at once modern and timeless," and Booklist says, "Readers won't be able to look away." <br> <br> Julia's work has been published, or is forthcoming, in Poets & Writers, Glamour, Flavorwire, and other publications, and she has been profiled in the L Magazine, The Observer, and The Economist. <br> <br> After graduating from the Iowa Writers' Workshop in 2002, Julia founded <a href="" rel="nofollow">The Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop</a>, and what started as eight writers meeting in her Brooklyn kitchen has grown into a creative home for over 2,000 writers. <br> <br> She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
