Public Relations and Communications Professional

Julissa Bonfante is a bilingual public relations and communications professional with over 15 years of experience developing public relations and marketing strategies for global companies in both the corporate and agency setting.

She was recently Senior Account Director at RockOrange, a full-service public relations and marketing agency based in Miami, leading strategic PR campaigns for local and national brands including Miami Children's Health Foundation, Zappos.com, Driven Brands, Cotton Inc. and Inaugural Poet Richard Blanco. Prior to RockOrange, she was Director of Corporate Development of Voxxi.com, where she managed strategic partnerships, blogger outreach, communications and social media.

Prior to Voxxi, she was Director of Communications for República, working with major national and South Florida brands such as GOYA Foods, Univision and Miami Dolphins. Formerly, she was VP of Group Communications for the BBVA Group in New York and Houston, leading internal and external communication initiatives as well as investor relations.

The native New Yorker is passionate about news, running and fashion. She loves pop culture and is a political junkie. She is a proud mom of two.

She has an MBA from Fordham Graduate School of Business and BA in Media Studies and Psychology from Fordham in New York.
