Vamsee Juluri is a professor of media studies at the University of San Francisco and the author of several books including Bollywood Nation: India through its Cinema (Penguin India, 2013) and the best-selling manifesto for decolonization Rearming Hinduism: Nature, Hinduphobia and The Return of Indian Intelligence (Westland, 2015). His writings have been published in Foreign Affairs, San Francisco Chronicle, On Faith, Hinduism Today,Times of India, Indian Express, The Hindu, Daily O, Swarajya, First Post, and India Facts. He has also been a guest on PRI, KQED's Forum, Al Jazeera English and other media outlets. His latest novel is Saraswati's Intelligence, the first part of a trilogy on Hanuman called The Kishkindha Chronicles (Westland, 2017).
