Justin Brookes is the Director of the Water Research Centre and Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Science at the University of Adelaide. Justin has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on water treatment, cyanobacteria, pathogens and aquatic ecology. This research has made a significant contribution to on-the-ground management of water resources both within Australia and internationally. Justin teaches >400 undergraduates annually on water related issues and aquatic ecology. He has been recognized for his work with awards from the Australian Water Association, the Premiers Science Awards and the Mercedes Benz Banksia Environmental Awards.
