Justin Lee

Executive Director, The Gay Christian Network

Justin Lee is the founder and executive director of The Gay Christian Network, an interdenominational organization of Christians working for the full global affirmation and support of LGBT people. Over the last two decades, he has developed a reputation as an effective strategist for winning over the most reluctant Christians. Justin’s first book, "Torn: Rescuing the Gospel from the Gays-vs.-Christians Debate," was a hit in evangelical circles and has been widely cited for its role in moving Christians to greater LGBT acceptance. It has been endorsed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and was most recently translated into Dutch, where it has inspired a new pro-LGBT Christian movement in the Netherlands. Justin speaks frequently across the country and has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Dr. Phil, Anderson Cooper 360, NPR's All Things Considered, and The New York Times. He writes about issues of faith and culture on his own blog, Crumbs from the Communion Table, at JustinLee.co.
