Justine Goodman

Justine Goodman is a New York City native who earned a degree in philosophy from Brown University, only to discover upon graduation that there weren’t many philosophy companies hiring. So she did the next best thing: returned to New York to pursue a career in journalism, and wound up splitting her time between freelance writing and bartending in the Lower East Side. She eventually landed a job as Associate Editor at YRB Magazine, where she wrote and edited celebrity interview features and music, entertainment and pop-culture content. She is currently employed as Senior Editor at Citysearch New York. When she’s not sleeping it off or begging for freelance work as a comedy writer, Justine can be found covering restaurants, bars and events all over the city.
