Founder and CEO, Isidore Electronics Recycling
In 2011, Kabira Stokes founded Isidore Electronics Recycling; an e-waste recycling social enterprise that is training and employing people who face severe barriers to work. She holds a Master’s degree in public policy from the University of Southern California with a focus on the justice system and environmental governance, has consulted for the non-profit Green For All and worked for the City of L.A. as Senior Field Deputy for then-City Council President (now Mayor) Eric Garcetti. Kabira is a graduate of Vassar College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish. In 2014, she was named a 50 Under 40 Social Entrepreneur by the AMEX Foundation, and in 2013, a Social Innovation Rockstar by Yoxi.
