Kalyani Sharma

Kalyani is a junior at The University of Michigan studying at the Ross School of Business. She grew up in Oakland County, Michigan, where she became involved with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, a program that incentivizes children in India to stay in school by providing in-class meals as an alternative to leaving school to beg for food on the streets. She is also actively involved with the Make-A-Wish-Foundation at the University of Michigan. After spending a summer abroad at The London School of Economics, Kalyani developed a love for British history, culture and literature. In her spare time, she loves to retain her sanity through practicing yoga, baking cupcakes, reading fashion blogs, and finding new music on 8tracks.
