Kara is a former news reporter and television producer turned work-from-home mom. In addition to exerting tremendous effort convincing her 2-year-old son that his newborn sister cannot yet eat Cheerios, she is also a writer, English adjunct and magazine editor. She has an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University.
